MotoringFile.com is my favorite place to get MINI Cooper news, and they recently mentioned a Forbes article citing the MINI once again as one of the top cars for retaining value year to year.

A quick check of KBB.com shows that my MINI Cooper S is worth the same amount as I paid for it a year ago. While it’s nice to know that my investment has a high residual value, I can’t think of anything I’d rather be driving to trade it in for! About the only option I miss on my MINI is the steering wheel controlled iPod adapter, and I can get that as a dealer-installed accessory. In fact, my MINI has an appointment for service on August 19 so it might be a good time to give it a birthday present!
